Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

The front of St John's Church dominates Old Town area with its two towers and grand entrance. The church was destroyed by fire in the 1400s, during wars in 1631 and 1945, and each time it was rebuilt. It is renowned for being the place that Martin Luther preached in the 1500s inspiring Magdeburg to become a leader in the Reformation.
